An examination of İshâk Bin Hasan Et-Tokâdî's work "Nazmü'l-Leâli" from the perspectives of kalām and the history of Islamic sects

In this study aims to examine the differences in views between Islamic sects as presented in the work "Nazmü'l-Leâli" by İshâk bin Hasan et-Tokâdî. This analysis will take into account his life, works, and his perspective on social issues. Additionally, the study aims to determine his position within the disciplines of Islamic Theology (Kalam) and Islamic Sects, as well as to identify the sect to which İshâk bin Hasan et-Tokâdî belonged, based on his views. In the first section of the study, the life, works, perspectives on social events, and the teachers who contributed to İshâk bin Hasan et-Tokâdî's scholarly formation are examined. The second section introduces Nazmu'l-Le'âlî and analyzes the key issues discussed in the work, particularly those where sects hold differing views. Perspectives from various sects are also included in the discussion. Ultimately, İshâk bin Hasan et-Tokâdî's views are evaluated through the verses in his work, revealing his alignment with Abu Hanifa's views and adherence to the Maturidi sect. The study highlights İshâk bin Hasan et-Tokâdî's connection to Abu Hanifa and the Maturidi sect. In the conclusion, the findings are reviewed, and a general summary is provided. The main goal is to make the Nazmu'l-Le'âlî more understandable and accessible to a wider audience. The aim is to reveal İshâk bin Hasan et-Tokâdî's views while staying true to the author's original intent, as he had intended his work to serve as a practical guide.
