Abstract (EN)
A light heating system, in other words, is an infrared heating system. Infraredsystem, which has been used very frequently in recent years, has started replacingconventional systems. We created a panel, called live test station, which is PLC-controlled and on whichthere exists a thermocouple and hygrometer for our thesis which aims at comparinglight heating systems with other heating systems.Through the experiments done under identical environment circumstances, thehumidity, temperature, heating duration, temperatures in various sections of theenvironment, power factors and energy consumption of the environment have beentested. The Conventional and Light heating systems have been tested under the sameenvironment circumstances. Evaluating the data obtained from the tests, a verydetailed comparison has been done.Temperature recorder with 50 channels, Hybrid Recorder, thermometer, power factormeter and live test station have been used in the tests.Besides, the use and application areas of infrared heating systems have been assessedand compared with those of other heating systems. In conclusion, light heating system, which enables us to heat a particular area in aparticular degree, uses the energy with 80% savings rate. Thus, such systems give usthe opportunity to heat open and half-open areas or places with high ceiling and air-conditioning more effectively. While light heated systems ensure us clean andhygienic environment, it also provides quality heating and warming without affectinghuman health.Key Words: Infrared, light heating system, conventional heating, power, powerfactor, humidity, energy, alternating current, harmonic
