Contribution of vocationab training courses arranged by ISKUR to employability of women: Example of Zonguldak province

In this study, the vocational education courses organized in Zonguldak province were investigated and the factors affecting the participation of women in the employment and the policies aimed at increasing women's employment were emphasized. Women's labor force participation is essential for economic development. Previously, there is no study on the contribution of the vocational training programs of Zonguldak İŞKUR to female employment. In this sense, the study is important for increasing female employment and regional development. In 2016, 2017 and 2018 female trainees who participated in vocational education programs were interviewed. As a result of the study, it was determined that Zonguldak İŞKUR did not affect the job placement of the female trainees who completed the courses.
