The acts on one's body in Islamic law

In this study, the saving authority of the individual on his / her own body is discussed. In Islam, human beings are subject to general orders and prohibitions. Otherwise, everything else is a recommendation. In this study, these issues will be taken into consideration. What is a person obliged to do on her/his own body, what should s/he avoid, and what should s/he pay attention to as advice? What wisdom is there in the way that Islam manages to conserve human body? Before moving on to the main theme of this thesis, the human understanding of Islam and humanism was compared. What the basic philosophy of humanism is based on has been discussed with humanist manifestos. It can be argued that Islam's human understanding is fundamentally different from humanism. In terms of the Qur'an and Sunnah, the human body is entrusted to him. Accordingly, one has to adopt and protect this trust. In this context, the main topics of the thesis are examined in detail under four sections. These investigations have been made on the basis of classical works as well as on the views of contemporary Islamic jurists in recent and contemporary times. Organ-tissue transplantation, tattoo, aesthetic surgery, abortion, sex change, suicide and euthanasia are discussed in the body integrity intervention section. In the prohibitions section, adultery, wine, substance abuse, pork, lie, gloom, use of gold-silver, silk robes are covered. In the orders section, prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, health, hijab issues were discussed and finally in the recommendations section speech, dressing, eating-drinking, walking, cleaning self-care issues were examined. The points on which these issues are reconciled were discussed and the views of both sects and some Islamic jurists were discussed. Keywords: Safety; humanism; Quran; Circumcision.
