Abstract (EN)
There is a reciprocal relationship between beliefs and social structure. Beliefs are not formed solely by divine revelation, but are based on social, political, economic, etc. There are many sub-reasons. In order to position a belief correctly, it is necessary to know the characteristics of the society from which it originates, in other words, its culture. Because evaluating a belief independently of the society in which it emerged and the social, political, economic and many other characteristics of the society will not lead us to correct conclusions. In this context, first of all, the sociological dimension of beliefs will be examined in depth, and since the subject is very comprehensive, the views of M. Şerafeddin Yaltkaya, who lived in the early 20th century and made a name for himself with his "İctima-i İlm-i Kalam" project, will be examined. What we are talking about here is not a Durkheimian blessing of society, on the contrary, it is an approach in which divine authority is accepted and the reality of society directing events in every field of history is taken into consideration.
