Analysis of Caferiyol magazine and Ashura issues in terms of the history of Islamic sects

This study focuses on the Caferiyol Journal, one of the publications of the Ja'fari Madhab and its Ashura special issues, which has an important place in the History of Islamic Madhabs, In this study, the historical development of the Ja'fari Madhab, its principles of belief and the situation of the Ja'faris in Türkiye discussed. In the study, which begins with a general overview of the history of Islamic Madhabs, the historical development of the Ja'fari sect and its basic principles of belief are detailed. This is one of the fundamental beliefs: the basic principles of belief such as Tawhid, Justice, Prophethood, Imamate, Maad, Bed'a, Raj'at and Taqiyya are explained. Ja'faris in Türkiye and the publications used by this madhab were analyzed. Information about the conceptual framework, history and author staff of Caferiyol Journal was given. The role of television, publishing houses and internet sites in the promotion of the Ja'farî Madhab in Türkiye was introduced. Additionally, the journal's correspondence of the Ashura issue and the articles on this subject were analyzed. Then, the topics covered in the study were summarized and a general evaluation was made.
