Abstract (EN)

Many people, especially the people of Sufism, who see loving the Prophet as a part of loving Allah and his religion, have written poems praising the Prophet in many places and in many periods. The historical process of such praise began when the Prophet (peace be upon him) was still alive. Muslim poets who sided with the Prophet composed poems in praise of the Prophet because they loved the Prophet and admired his character, as well as because they aimed to defend him and the religion of Islam. Chief among them were Hassân b. Sâbit, 'Abdallah b. Rawah and Ka'b b. Malik came. Although there have been some studies on the poems of the poets in question, there has not been an independent study in which their lives and praise poems about the Prophet are discussed together. Based on this deficiency, our study consists of three main parts. In the first part, the political, social and literary situations of the jahiliyya and Sadru'l-Islam periods in which the poets lived are discussed. In the second part, the lives and literary personalities of the poets of the Prophet in question are included. In the third part, the content of the praises of the Prophet (peace be upon him) by these poets is examined.
