The evaluation of iIslamic indexes and share investments in the framework of Islamic finance principles

In the globalized world, direct impact of indexes on markets has increased and become important for managing savings in terms of both domestic and foreign investors. The first part of my study which is composed of three sections, is mainly based on the concept of index, classification of indexes, methods of calculation, advantages of processing and the relation between index and risk concepts. The second part, which is mainly focused on major Islamic indexes in the world and Turkey, has been prepared about index participation prerequisites (operation field criteria and financial structure criteria) and index types. As a result, in the third section, stock and investments mentioned in previous sections have been evaluated in frame of generally accepted Islamic regulations.
