Abstract (EN)
This dissertation addresses one of the most critical issues facing the Islamic Ummah: the issue of unity, which represents a cornerstone of the religion, a foundational principle of the Shari'ah, and an essential requirement for preserving the integrity of the Ummah and restoring its civilizational role—especially in light of the sectarian, ethnic, and political conflicts that have weakened its internal cohesion and undermined its external strength and global presence. Entitled "Islamic Texts and Their Role in the Unity of the Ummah: An Objective Study," this research presents a scholarly analytical study of a collection of Qur'anic and Prophetic texts related to the topic. It examines the verses and hadiths that emphasize unity and collective identity while prohibiting division and conflict, tracing the core values embedded in these texts and how they can establish lasting unity rooted in creed and reflected in the social and political realities of the Muslim community.
