Transaction amount of credit card usage on thebasis of relations with inflation: An application on Turkey

In this study, the relationship between credit card usage and inflation is examined on transaction amount basis. In the first part the definition on the credit card is discussed, creditcard systems and their positive and negative direction of credit cards and credit card transactions and historal development of the world in Turkey, Turkey to implement the credit card is explained. In the second part the concept of inflation, types of inflation and causes of inflation, theories of inflation an explained. In the third section; inflation princess with some amount of research literature in Turkey line with their credit card usage and whether there is a relationship in the supply of money in order to examine whether it will be done between. The relationship between the variables in this study, time series analysis and monthly data will be investigated credit card usage data based on transaction amount; inflation data from interbank card center; obtained from TUIK. The data on credit card usage and inflation changes based on transactions amount include 2009-2018 period the relationship between credit card usage and inflation on the basis of transaction amount ARDL will be investigated using cointegration and Toda-Yamamoto causality tests.
