Abstract (EN)

Small and medium sized enterprises (SME) have an important role in development of the country, creation of employment, achieving the cross domain steadiness in terms of country economics; however; financing needs of SMEs because of their structure, and problems stemming from the economy takes.In the first part of the study, SME definitions in Turkey and World, SME?s position and importance in economics and the difficulties they encounter are discussed. Second section provides information about what is happening in non-operating sources of funding. In the last part, it is aimed to research with the fieldwork in Afyonkarahisar that non-operating income fund resources and application of these resources by business executives. In the light of the survey findings, it is concluded that businesses tend to get bank loans from more well known resources, they do not know exactly the other and new financial techniques.
