Abstract (EN)
In this study, differences between proprietary and control structure utilized by business groups and their strategic plan were investigated. Environment of this study constitutes 336 companies processing at Istanbul Stock Exchange and being in service in Turkey or having a relation with Turkey-centered Holding.Relation between proprietary and control in management group was taken up in two stage in the light of evidences of this study. In first stage, used structure were recovered in the light of proprietary and control structure level by individually investigation of each Holding and theirs linkages company.In second stage, the finding about the relations between proprietary structure and strategy were taken up. It was not determined any difference between diversifications strategy in public access management group having different capital density. Business group prefer to outward looking internationalization in their internationalization policy. it was shown that focusing strategy accepted by management group, at the same time management groups especially prefer focusing structure in view of management group rationality.
