Sexual discrimination and abuse at the workplace

VI ABSTRACT In history women's effort regarding to their position in communities was firstly their social status, later on as they were involved in business life, their economical status at community became important too. As communities have developed, women's social status got improved too. Women has got improvements at many aspects of social and economical lives. As women involved in business life, regulations at social, economical life and at common rights has changed. At this point the regulations related to women's problems in business life are seperatly managed because of the difference of these problems from men's and they have these problems just because they are women. These regulations became inevitable because of disadvantages of being woman at business life. Women's sexual discrimination related to their weakness relative to man is exposed at getting a job, at business life, getting paid and social security rights. Sexually discriminated women are exposed to sexual harrassment. Then this became another big problem. In this study, from past to now women's social-economical conditions are studied. So generally women's conditions at business life is figured out. Secondly women's problems related to their business life, their general problems, sexually discrimination and sexual harresement problems are observed. Finally surveys are - applied among hundred selected women and the results are evaluated.
