Personal life, military service and bibliography of İsmet İnonu

İsmet İnönü who was born in İzmir in 1884 entered the Sivas Military High Scholl in 1892 and continued military life until 1927; during this thirty-five-year period he continued the struggle against many wars and rebellions. İnönü who was in the Movement Army, Yemen Revolt, Balkan War and First World War tooks its place Turkish History as the commander who "defeated the bad luck of the nation". İsmet İnönü who attracts the attention of his superiors with his determined, hardworking and harmonious personality has an active life enough to shed light on Turkey's political, military and diplomatic history as well as its social structure, educational and cultural development and economic improvement. İsmet İnönü is known fondness for art, sports and his character that focused on living every moment of the life to the fullest and fondness for his family. This work which is the best example of how many and different things can fit into a very busy and tiring life is based on the military and private life of İsmet İnönü and also has a bibliographic content in order to guide the writing of a very long period of Turkish History. The preparation of the thesis a wide range of search for resources including official publications, archive documents, minutes of the Grand National Council of Turkey, memories, examinated works and periodicals were made.
