Isparta- Senirkent of village settlements socio-cultural and economical differences (Uluğbey-Akkeçili example)

In this research, city of Isparta administrative district of Senirkent, town Uluğbey and village of Akkeçili?s physical, economical, social and cultural differences has been surveyed. Before the research in the investigation area has been made, other researches about the investigation area has been complated. This study is formed by two main parts. In the first part; geographical, social and economical properties of the close environment and of the investigation area has been emphasized. In this part, in order to emphasize the geographical features; geographical site, surface figures, climate and water sources have been searched. After then; the economical properties that have been formed, depending on the close environment and of the investigation area researched. In terms of economical features; agriculture, cattle-breeding activities, industry and tourisim titles have been emphasized. For the human properties, population and settlement construction have been surveyed. In the second part of investigation; social life fealtwes such as education, health, dwelling, wedding and circumcision ceremony, religious festival, traditional celebrations, neighbourhood accent features, birth-death traditions in the investigation area have been touched. Moreover; in the last part of survey, the similarities and differences in the settlement units that took part at the same geography have been proved and some proposals have been made about the investigation area.Key Words: Cultural Properties, Social-Economical Properties, Settlement Unit Differences, Uluğbey, Akkeçili.
