Unemployment insurance and the model of Turkey

Keywords: Unemployment, employment, social security system, insurance, unemployment insurance. Unemployment problem which is accepted one of the most important risks of the social security, is appeared a common problem for all of the world economies in spite of differences between economic development degrees. Forming social security systems by the states for solving unemployment problem is accepted that one of the most important principle element of being social states. Within this context, unemployment insurance system which was built for removing the social risks as the result of unemployment problem, is placed as a part of social security systems. The basic purpose of this thesis is to describe unemployment problem, to examine personal and social effects of unemployment problem, to determine the basic criters of unemployment insurance and to evaluate if unemployment insurance can be applied in Turkey or not with the models of Europe. With in the contest of preparations, was applied to some academic workings of experts, was examined some articles of scientists, was explained positive and negative sides of the unemployment insurance and was offered some suggestions for being faced the problems of unemployment insurance by apply step.
