Abstract (EN)

The word "mecmûʿa" is derived from the Arabic root "cemʿ," meaning "brought together" or "compiled." A mecmûʿa can be defined as a work that collects texts from different authors. Poetry mecmûʿas are particularly important because they may contain previously unidentified poems or poets. This mecmûʿa consists almost entirely of religious and mystical poems. It is registered in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Atatürk Library under catalog number OE_YZ_1613. Based on the phrase "1228 Receb-i gurre" recorded in the manuscript, it can be said that the mecmûʿa was completed in 1813. The mecmûʿa also includes poems by poets who lived before this date. The mecmûʿa consists of 185 leaves in total and contains 330 poems by more than 84 poets. It also includes 36 anonymous poems whose authors are unknown. Of the 330 poems, 63 belong to Eşrefoğlu Rûmî and 61 belong to Niyâzî-i Mısrî. The most represented poets in the magazine are: Eşrefoğlu Rûmî, Niyâzî-i Mısrî, Abdulahad Nuri, Yunus Emre, Bosnak Kaimî, Aziz Mahmud Hüdayî, Zatî, Gülşenî, Ruhî-i Bağdadî, Sabrî, Nesîmî, Derviş, Ruşenî, Zaʿfî, Adlî, Ahmed Pasha, Derviş Himmet, Ensârî, Esʿad, Fanî, Fazlî, Fevrî, Hatayî, Hayâlî, Kaygusuz Abdal, Keşfî, Mevlânâ, Mevlânâ Latîfî, Nihanî, Seyfullah Seyfî and Sinânî. At the end of the study, the collection was classified according to the MESTAP table. Moreover, it also has the characteristics of a manuscript collection.
