A research on the historical process of the Istanbul Fener Greek Patriarchate and Greek Orthodox religious music

It is observed in research how religious music is intertwined with the socio-cultural structure of the lands they dominate and how much they influence each other. The foundation of Istanbul Fener Greek Patriarchate and Greek Orthodox religious music dates back to the Byzantine period, that is, to Anatolian lands. The historical process in these lands plays an important role in the formation and development of Greek Orthodox religious music. This research is a descriptive research based on literature review.
