Abstract (EN)
Turkey has revealed a new development vision with Istanbul Finance Center Project. Considering the internal and external impacts to be created by the Istanbul International Finance Center project, it may be the most assertive project that the country has so far targeted. Turkey's macroeconomy structure has high interest rates, low exchange rate and economic crisis spillover for decades. However, this research believe that very strongly, Turkey could come out of these problems with only Finance Center Project. A financial center includes the concept of law, human capital and advanced democracy together. This triple idea (concept of law, human capital, advanced democracy) is the magic formula in development. With this belief, it was aimed to contribute to the rapid development of the project after the implementation of the project with "Financial Pots Approach" and "Two sides of the mountain". Also the dissertation examined the statistical and commercial design and data acquisition methods of ten different developing countries which aim to turn into a new international financial center by taking GFCI 24 and GFCI 25 indices into consideration. According to the statistical results, significant statistical findings have emerged between the transformation into an IFC and the inventions which are the main elements of development. In the study, international financial centers were also evaluated as social capital cases and examined with development examples such as the New York financial center - Silicon Valley.
