Abstract (EN)
In this study, the construction sector, which is considered as the locomotive sector of the Turkish economy and affects more than 200 sub-sectors, will have an important place in the economy both in terms of production and employment, will be discussed in general, and then the situation of the housing sector will be examined. While the investigation has been being done, there will be field narrowing regarding Istanbul, The heart of the Turkish economy, in İstanbul which is the most crowded and the most dinamic city of Turkey, the factors that affects housing indsutry will be focused. The details of housing finance will be covered and some types of financing will be examined. However, risk factors to be evaluated and housing finance situation in Turkey will be discussed. While examining the role of the housing sector in the economy, the risks will be evaluated too and the economic crises which have been realized in the world or regionally before will be investigated and will be examined the relation with housing sector.
