Abstract (EN)
In the first part of our study; the concepts industrial and industrialization are emphasized. The beginning and practice of Organized Industrial Zone Implementations in our country and the changes they have undergone are examined. In the last part of the thesis, the distribution and characteristics of Organized Industrial Zones in Istanbul and their contributions to production are examined and also their effects on urbanization are evaluated.
