Istanbul University Rare Books Library poetry collection numbered ty 10447 (41a-84b): Analysis-text-classification according to MESTAP

The term journal, defined in dictionaries as a manuscript book consisting of all the things that have been collected, accumulated, arranged and arranged and selected writings, has been used in the sense of a mixed notebook containing the works of different poets and writers in different genres, often with no known scribe, or written in verse, prose or verse-prose forms shaped around a single genre. Since journals are composed of various and different materials, they shed light on the history, society and culture of the period. A significant portion of the journals written to date are poetry journals. The subject of our study, the poetry journal registered with the number Nekty 10447 in the Istanbul University Rare Works Library, consists of 84 leaves and was edited by Yusuf bin Abdullah. The owner of the journal is Hüseyin Çelebi. In the part of the text we examined, there are 137 poems by 25 poets and 20 poems whose poet is unknown. These poems consist of ghazals, stanzas, masnavis and mufrads. There are also short prose pieces in the work. The journal contains selections of poems by poets who lived in the 15th and 16th centuries. The poet with the most poems is Bâkî. In this study, after giving information about the journals, the poetry journals numbered Nekty 10447 of the Istanbul University Rare Works Library was introduced and then the transcribed text of the relevant pages was included. Later, the poems here were placed in the table created within the MESTAP study.
