Istanbul University Rare Books Library Poetry Collection Registered at number NEKTY 3771 (18a-47b): Analysis-text-classificcation to MESTAP

The text that is the subject of our thesis is a poetry collection (18a-47b) recorded as Mecmûa-i Gazeliyyât in Istanbul University Rare Books Library Number NEKTY 3771 This study, titled "Poetry Collection Registered in Istanbul University Rare Books Library Number NEKTY 3771: (18a-47b) (Analysis -Text- Classification According to Mestap)", includes the preparation of the transcribed text of the collection, the examination of the text, the classification of MESTAP and the preparation of the selected dictionary. The aim of our thesis is to contribute to the published divans of poets at the level of poems, couplets, verses and words for collection studies in the field of classical Turkish poetry. In addition, it is to reveal the diversity and richness of our literature by bringing to the attention of researchers the poets and their poems, whose names have never been encountered in the materials and studies that are the source of classical Turkish literature or who are included in only a few couplets. Our study consists of four main sections that come after the introduction. In the introduction section, general information about the collections is given. In the first part, a detailed examination of the leaves (18a-47b), which is the subject of the thesis, is made. In the second part, the transcribed text is prepared. In the third part, the aforementioned leaflets were classified according to the "Systematic Classification of Collections Project (MESTAP)", and in the fourth part, a selected dictionary was prepared. With the results obtained, it is aimed to be instrumental in bringing the poetry taste and artistic richness of the period to new generations and to contribute to scientific studies to some extent.
