Abstract (EN)

This study is comprised of the transcripted text, the analysis, and the grading of the poetry journal, registered under the name of Mecmû'a-ı Gazeliyyât and numbered TY00818 in Istanbul University Rare Works Library, according to MESTAP table. Mecmû'a-ı Gazeliyyât is a majmua (poetry collection) including the poems of the XV-XVI th century poets. In total, there are 308 poems and 71 poets whose pseudonyms determined in the journal. It is surmised that the journal was compiled in the XVI th century and the compiler of the journal is also a poet with the pseudonym "Hâlî". The poems in this work are written in seven different verse forms and they vary in terms of content and all of them written are written in the aruz prosody. While the poems written in this poetry collection have varying contents, the main theme is love. With this study, it is aimed to reveal the importance of poetry collections for Turkish literature research and to contribute to the Systematic Classification of Journals Project (MESTAP), which is a journal data bank.
