Abstract (EN)
In this study, the impacts of effective possible factors are examined in employment of graduates of Statistics Departments in Turkey. In employment of graduates of Statistics Departments factors such as computer knowledge, foreign language skills, success status of graduation, marital status, sex, self-confidence, hope for future and communication skills, etc. are analyzed. On a sample group including graduates of Statistics Departments a measurement is designed with a questionnaire related with the employment status of graduates. In this study, independent samples t-test, chi-square test, factor analysis and binary logistic regression technique are used. It is concluded that factors point average, foreign language skills and computer knowledge are effective in the public sector employment, whereas self-confidence and social communication skills are effective factors in private sector employment.
