Abstract (EN)
Psychological contracts with a characteristic based on individual perception, can also affect the organizational commitment of employees besides the official contracts that determine the mutual obligations of the employees and the organizations. Adult attachment styles that may be useful in explaining the psychological mechanisms underlying business relationships can also affect work-related outcomes. The current study reveals the relationship between the psychological contract (both transactional and relational) perceptions and affective organizational commitment of the employees with adult attachment styles. The survey was carried out in an organization serving in the transportation sector in Çukurova Region with 132 employees. A 3-scales questionnaire consisting of 4 sections and 35 items was administered. As a result of the analyzes, there was a positively low level of relationship between both psychological contract and affective commitment as well as between preoccupied and fearful attachment styles and transactional contract. It has also been found that the psychological contract has only a partial mediating role between fearful attachment style and affective commitment. However, according to the regression results, preoccupied and fearful attachment styles positively affected the transactional sub-dimension of the psychological contract.
