Abstract (EN)

The high unit cost of Organic Agriculture products, and the fact that Conventional products are harmful to human health, environment (soil, water, etc.) and other life stakeholders in nature (animals, plants, etc.) due to their chemical residues have led consumers to good agricultural practices products. The aim of this study is to examine consumer attitudes towards Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in terms of "Human Health", "Benefit to the Environment and Price Perception". The population of the study was selected by the easy sampling method among households who shop for food products in Karaman Province. The population of the research was selected from the households shopping for food products in Karaman Province, by easy sampling method. In this study, which was carried out by adopting a quantitative research model, a questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. Demographic questions, consumer attitude scale and brand personality scale were used in the survey. The data obtained were analyzed by using the SPSS-25 statistical program. In addition, one-way Anova test, T-test, Correlation analysis and Crosstab analysis were performed with these data. According to the result of the study it has been understood that the dimensions like human health, harm to the environment and price perception affect the attitudes and behaviors of consumers. In addition, statistically significant differences were obtained between these dimensions regarding the demographic characteristics of consumers. As a result, it has been noticed that the attitudes and behaviors of consumers at the point of purchasing agricultural food products have changed depending on their health and environmental awareness. It has been understood that individuals become more sensitive to the environment and human health as their knowledge about the harmfulness of the food they buy to human health and the environment increases. In addition to all these, it was emphasized that the protection of other life stakeholders in nature is important both in the name of healthy nutrition and in terms of leaving a cleaner environment and agricultural areas to future generations. All the findings were discussed in a comprehensive way by associating them with the existing literature, and the results were reported. Depending on the results, other suggestions and discussions are presented in the conclusion.
