Abstract (EN)
Accidents caused by human errors in the aviation sector continue to occur despite technological developments or administrative regulations. At the same time, research has shown that pilot error is much more common among the causes of military and civilian accidents than other causes. Detection of pilot error possibilities that cause accidents is of vital importance in terms of reducing costs, saving human life, and increasing flight safety. With this study, according to certain criterias it was tried to determine the probability of the pilot mistakes in the specific engine emergencies of the F-16 aircraft, which is a jet fighter aircraft. A new hybrid approach is presented by using HEART (human error assessment and reduction technique) and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) methods while determining the error probability. As a result, ergonomic or educational improvements that increase flight safety for checklist tasks which has high error probabilities are presented and measures are suggested. Considering determined the human error probabilities and evaluations together with the solution proposals, an original study was presented in terms of the certain checklist tasks of the pilots in jet aircraft.
