Abstract (EN)

In this study, herbicidal effect of juglone allelochemical has been researched. Juglone solutions prepared as different concentrations between 0.25-1.25 mm and applied to the leaves of weed plantsby spraying. The treatments were repeated three times with five day intervals. Sinapis arvensis and Papaver rhoeas weed species were used as plant material. As a result, generally, 1 and 1.25mm juglon concentrations decreased plant growth of weed species. Polyphemal oxidase enzyme activity was also decreased but protein concent was increased by juglone treatments.
