Kadri Pasha and his work Tatbiku mâ Vücide fi'l-Kanunil-Medenî Muvâfikan li-Mezhebi Ebî Hanife (The critical edition)

Kadri Paşa and His Treatise Named as "Tatbîku mâ vücide fi'l-Kanûni'l-medenî muvâfikan li-mezhebi Ebî Hanife", (Critical Edition) Master's Thesis, 2019(XI+59) The aim of this study is to bring the critical edition of Muhammed Kadri Pasha's "Tatbîku mâ vücide fi'l-Kanûni'l-medenî muvâfıkan li-mezhebi Ebî Hanîfe" into the agenda of the scientific community. The nineteenth century, where the author lived, corresponded to a very unsteady period in Egypt, politically, socially and culturally. In this century, where the French influence was felt in every area, the enactment of the law took its share from this interaction. The work, which was written on the order of the administrators of the period and crtically edited by us, discusses the conformity of the French Civil Code to the Hanafi sect of the Islamic law. Muhammed Kadri Pasha was the most important indicator of the proper service of 'Medresetü'l-Elsün", which was established for the purpose of providing European style education in Egypt and for the translation of western sources.
