Abstract (EN)

This study manages to determine the diversity of macrofungi found in the forest areas of Kadışehir district of Yozgat province and surrounding villages. The results of the studies carried out in forest areas between 2023 and 2024 were by taking color photographs of macrofungus samples at different dates and no ecological and some morphological characteristics were found. To prevent damage to the samples, the mushrooms were examined, wrapped in scans and placed in a box, taken to the laboratory, spore examination was performed, dried herbarium numbers were scanned and placed in polyethylene bags. Microscopic properties of the samples are determined using light microscopy and appropriate chemicals on dry samples. As a result of laboratory studies, a total of 78 species distributed in 2 sections, 33 families and 51 genera were identified. The similarity rates with previous studies in areas close to the research areas are approximately 25%. Of the identified macrofungal species, 1 (1.28%) belongs to Ascomycota and 77 (98.72%) belongs to Basidiomycota. Among the edible and inedible mushrooms, most of them are inedible. The number of edible mushrooms is 18, the number of inedible mushrooms is 42, and the number of mushrooms with special features that can be sold is 18.
