Interpretation of surah Qaf

Objective of the present study is the commentary of the surah of Kâf. During the study, while the Qur'anic verses were interpreted, the works on the hadith corpus, the early narrative commentaries and the sources closer to the apoplectic period were taken as reference. In addition, reference was made to sources dealing with the exegesis of acumen, exegesis studies on them, mujams, ulumul-Qur'an works, rhetoric and irab books, and strange words in the Qur'an. This study consists of introduction, three chapters and conclusion. In the introduction part, the name and place of surah of Kaf, whether it is Mekki or Medenî, its virtue, the reason of its apoplexy and its relations with the surahs before and after it were examined. In the first part, the text of the verses 1 and 15th, their meaning and İ'râb, strange words in the verses, important concepts and rhetoric analysis were discussed. Furthermore, in the commentary part, the wisdom of Almighty Allah's oath to the Qur'an, oddness of the unbelievers for following a human prophet and resurrection, pulling attraction to earth of Almighty Allah, and all the creatures found in these lands for the first time brought to the field of existence power, the creation of this known world and the creation of all the creatures and the second resurrection of the unknown are considered and the end of the people who deny despite all the evidence were described. In the second part, the text of 16 and 29th verses, their meaning, İ'râb, strange words in verses, important concepts and rhetoric analysis were discussed. Furthermore, in the commentary section, the knowledge of Creator about creatures to every aspect and their closeness to him, witnessing angels watching all the human beings, the moment of death and the apocalypse, the moment of reckoning with witness angels in the presence of God Almighty, the negative attitudes of denials and their ends, the betrayal of the devil's own friends were described. In the third chapter, the text of the verses 30 and 45th, the meaning, the wrath, the strange words in the verses, important concepts and rhetoric analysis were discussed. In addition, in the commentary part, the desire of hell for rebels, the characteristics of heaven and its people, the threatening to those who deny the resurrection, and the second time re-proof, patience and remembrance to the ignorant advice, the second emancipation and coming out of the grave, the power of Almighty Allah to create at first and his power to create at the second time for the judgement and the judgement day and warning of Prophet those who feared the promise of Allah with the Qur'an.
