Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the electrochemical properties of Edoxaban, a blood thinning agent, were investigated by square wave and alternating voltammetry techniques using pencil graphite electrodes in BR (pH 9.0) solution medium. The measurements of edoxaban by cyclic voltammetry showed a well defined irreversible response at approximately +0.97 V. With the characterized device parameters, it was found that it offered a linear operating range of 0.2-1.8 μM in BR (pH 9.0) medium and its LOD and LOQ values were 0.073 μM (0.133 μg mL-1 ) and 0.243 μM (0.443 μg mL-1 ), respectively. The application results of the voltammetric technique developed in the thesis study were compared with the results of UV/Vis technique and found to be compatible with each other.
