In a quality management system, making the right decision on process and process parameters to improve quality, efficiency and reduce costs depends greatly on measurement and analysis of process characteristics. Therefore, before evaluating or taking steps to improve a process, it should be determined that the measurement data is correct. In other words, a measurement systems analysis should be performed.In this thesis, different studies on measurement systems analysis are examined and it is applied to measurement system in glass manufacturing company. Mean?Range Method and Analysis of Variance Method are used in this study which includes the measurement analysis of parts of glass forming machines that have a very important effect on scrap costs. Measurement processes of two critical parameters are studied and it is determined that the measurement system used in thickness measurement process is unacceptable.
