Abstract (EN)
Development agencies were established in 2006 to minimize interregional development differences as a consequence of the acceleration and sustainability of regional development. Therefore, the results of the supports provided by the Development Agencies to the individuals, institutions and organizations, the effects of the activities they carry out and the success should be monitored. Making the effectiveness and performance evaluation has become an important issue for the development of decision-making mechanisms and institutional structure of development agencies, investigating service quality and effectively allocating and managing public resources. The main objective of this thesis is to compare the activities and performance of development agencies according to years and to develop a Data Envelopment model. According to this model, the efficiencies of Development Agencies were determined by using Data Envelopment Analysis. The results of this analysis were interpreted comparatively and performance improvements were presented.
