Thesis FLOTATİON PERFORMANCE ANALYSİS OF N1-PHENYLHYDRAZİNE-1,2-BİS (CARBOTHİOAMİDE) DERİVATİVES İN THE SEPARATİON OF CHALCOPYRİTE Birgül BAYRAKTAROĞLU Kastamonu University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Materials Science and Engineering Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Fatma KANDEMİRLİ Abstract: In this study, the interaction of ore with flotation reagents, which is one of the most investigated subjects in terms of flotation chemistry, was investigated. Flotation performances were evaluated using N1-phenylhydrazine-1,2-bis (carbothioamide) derivatives in the separation of chalcopyrite. Experimental studies were performed in Eti Copper Co Küre Plant the laboratory of ore preparation and chemical analysis. In the flotation experiments, DENVER D-12 model pilot design was used as a flotation device. The speed of this device to be used in all experiments was set to 1200 rpm (dev / min), the volume of the cellul was 2 L and the solid ratio was 30–35 %. In the light of the data obtained, various studies have been carried out in this direction with the aim of obtaining high yield of salable copper concentrates at the end of the enrichment process of substance B which is N1-phenylhydrazine-1,2-bis (carbothioamide) derivates. Substances A and B which are N1-phenylhydrazine-1,2-bis (carbothioamide) derivatives were subjected to different experimental conditions and the results were examined on the basis of yield and % Cu grade.
