Abstract (EN)

Ruûs Notebooks are the notebooks in which transactions such as appointment, assignment and dismissal are recorded in the Ottoman bureaucracy. Our thesis includes the transcription and evaluation of the pages 1-170 of Kamil Kepeci's Ruûs Book No. 275. The part that we have evaluated in the notebook covers the appointments and dismissals between the dates of Receb 1081- Şevval 1082 (November 1670-February 1672). The mentioned year interval includes the period when Köprülü-zâde Fazıl Ahmed Pasha was the grand vizier. From the records between pages 1-170 in the notebook, information about the appointments of many officials such as dergâh-ı âli sergeant, school nurse, class teacher, caliph, foundation and castle officials can be obtained.
