Abstract (EN)
This study is conducted to determine the religious attitudes and medical perceptions of the healthcare professionals and their relation to the socio-demographic variables. The study is conducted with medical professionals from 10 public institutions in Konya, Turkey. The samples were selected with random sampling. Questionnaires were used as the data collection method. 456 questionnaires with complete answers were taken into consideration. The analysis was conducted via IBM SPSS 22 software. When the religious attitude perceptions are examined, it is evident that the perception of belief, perception of worship, perception of exposure, perception of satisfaction factors and overall religious attitude perception are found to be considerably high. Additionally, in terms of the medical perception factors of the staff; self-awareness perception is found to be medium and perception of healthiness, perception of helplessness and overall medical perception are found to be high. There are meaningful differences among the staff in terms of the institution, title, status of work, gender, age, education, marital status, work experience, seniority at the workplace and monthly income by means of DTA and SA factors. Finally, DTA and SA of the staff change according to their demographic features. Key Words: Perception Of Health, Perception Of Religious Attitude,Religion And Health, Tıbb-ı Nebevi.
