Özet (EN)
In today's business world, the rapidly increasing competition conditions require organizations to have employees who are specialized in their fields, who are compatible in teamwork and who can show superior performance in the organization in order to survive. The fact that burnout is a result of constant difficulties in business life also causes stress. People tend to put the responsibility of what is happening to them on themselves or on forces other than themselves. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the regulatory role of the locus of control in the effect of burnout of employees in the service branches of municipalities, which are a public institution, on their job performance. Accordingly, the independent variable of the research is "Burnout Level"; the dependent variable of the research is "Job Performance"; Regulatory variable of the research was determined as "Locus of Control". The questionnaire, which is among the data collection tools of quantitative research methods, was used to collect data. The total number of staff working in the municipality; The number of civil servants, contracted personnel and workers was 533 in total, and as a result of the study, 209 people were able to receive responses from the qoustionnaires forms. It was decided to exclude 4 of the survey forms from the survey forms, as they were filled incompletely. Accordingly, the study group of the study consists of 205 municipal personnel. Face-to-face interviews were made with the municipality personnel who participated in the study. The questionnaire form consists of 4 parts. SPSS20 statistical program was used to analyze the data obtained in the study. As a result, it has been determined that personal control situations have a regulatory role in the effect of physical exhaustion levels of municipal employees on job performance. Again, according to models created in the effect of burnout levels of municipal employees on work performance, belief in chance and fatalism has no regulatory effect, unfair world belief has a regulatory effect on the effect of physical exhaustion levels on work performance, and mental exhaustion has an unfair world belief and work performance. It has been determined that unfair world belief does not have a regulatory role.
