Abstract (EN)
Social security is an important indicator of welfare in the economic and economic development of a country, as well as taking precautions against the negative consequences of physiological and socio-economic hazards. Considering today's conditions, budget deficits in social security systems cause an increase in the need for financing in terms of income-expenditure balance. For this reason, the necessity of the social state understanding, its inadequacy in producing solutions to the problems and maintaining the system has created the need for a comprehensive reform. In this direction, our country has put the Private Pension System on a legal basis in 2001 in order to both reduce the burden on the social security system and create a long-term income source for the economy. However, although significant progress has been made in this period in our country, it is seen that many participants leave the system without completing the retirement conditions. In this study, the opinions of those who are included in the system and the public employees who leave the system in the province of Tokat on the preferences of the Private Pension System in terms of savings and investment were examined. The research is statistically a descriptive research and a questionnaire, which is one of the data collection methods, was used. Questionnaires within the scope of the survey were directed to 368 participants, including employees in the public sector. SPSS.22 program, which is one of the statistical programs, was used in the analysis of the data and the interpretation of the findings. The findings were interpreted by applying the Independent Sample T-test and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) tests, which are statistical tests. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that there was no significant difference between the age, marital status, education, occupation and monthly income status of the employees participating in the survey and their Private Pension System preferences. However, considering the gender factor in the analysis, it was concluded that women's approach to the Private Pension System was more positive, and this was found to be statistically significant.
