Abstract (EN)
In this study; the prohibition on receiving gifts for public officials has been taken into consideration. For this purpose; first of all, the subject and the reason of the ban and the addressee of the gift have been emphasized. The concepts of gifts, unethical behavior and public officials are mentioned. In addition, in the thesis, the regulations regarding the ban on gifts in Turkish law have been examined. Finally, checking the prohibition of receiving gifts and the consequences of violating the law are explained.
