Employee satisfaction in public sector research for determining to : The case of İstanbul Law enforcement agency sample

Employee satisfaction is the most important driving factor of productivity in service industry. Researches about employee satisfaction are investigated and taking those results into consideration, a satisfaction survey is prepared. According to numerious scientific researches, productive and efficient service in public service sector is found proportionate to employee satisfaction or dissatisfaction. This result reveals the importance of employee satisfaction. Special attention is paid to behave objectively while doing this study It is dwelled on basic concepts in the first part of this study, in the second part contributory factors in employee satisfaction is emphasized, in the final part a research is done in public and results are analyzed. As a result of "Research Determınıng ToPublic Sector Employee Survey : The Case Of İstanbul Law Enforcement Agency Sample" survey which has been done with participation of threehundredeightyfour employee from EGM public service sector in İstanbul city; it is found that in the basis of employee satisfaction perspective effected by rewarding, motivation, education, type of management, decision and attendance. By means of employee satisfaction measurements which are oriented to employees, employees indicate positive and negative work flows; institutions can specify employee satisfaction level, lacking subjects, needs which are needed to be fulfilled and communication problems can be clarified and positive results can be presented.
