Providing real estate acquisition for public investments through land consolidation works: The case of Gülağaç section of Ankara-Niğde motorway

Planning and implementing public investments together with Land Consolidation (LC); In addition to reducing investment costs, it is of great importance for accelerating investments and efficient use of public and private resources. The most important issue in the reduction of investment costs is to minimize the need for expropriation. In this, LC should be seen as an important tool. In this study, the definition of expropriation and LC has been made and how the realization of immovable property for public investments by land consolidation works has been discussed. A major public investment for our country, which will connect the province of Edirne to the province of şanliurfa, Ankara - Nigde province between the construction of the area remaining in the section of the motorway, which is tender to prevent expropriation, Aksaray Gülagaç 2.Portion LC and Fıeld Development Servıces (FDS) project covered villages, research area has been selected. The form and information of the LC applied in the real estate acquisition for public investments in these villages are explained. In LC projects, LC studies of different public institutions aiming to prevent expropriation are mentioned. Finally, if the acquisition of real estates for public investments is provided by LC studies, the costs of LC projects are compared with the expenditures of expropriation in the same region and the material and spiritual gains of our country are examined by comparing the outgoing expenses.
