Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the effects of intra-organizational communication and conflict management on individuals and groups have been examined comprehensively. Communication skills have been evaluated through elements such as empathy, active listening, self-awareness and disclosure, and the use of "I" language. It has been revealed that these skills strengthen the interaction between individuals, reduce misunderstandings and encourage cooperation. While empathy is defined as an individual's understanding of the other party's emotional state and giving appropriate reactions to this situation, active listening is explained as the process of carefully listening and understanding the other party's message. Conflict management styles have been addressed within the framework of different approaches such as integration, compromise, coercion, avoidance and compliance. While integration stands out as a constructive approach that aims to find a common solution that meets the needs of the parties, coercion refers to a more authoritarian approach. Compromise allows the parties to meet at a middle point by making some concessions to each other. Avoidance is an approach that prefers to avoid conflict, while compliance means that one party submits to the wishes of the other. According to the research results, it has been semen that individuals with effective communication skills manage conflict situations more successfully and create a positive work environment within the organization. This study aims to raise awareness on communication and conflict management issues, shed light on the strategies that organizations need to develop in these areas and contribute to academic literature. Communication and conflict management are considered critical components of organizational success and the findings of this study provide valuable information for managers and employees.
