Kant'ın ahlak felsefesinde özgürlük ve kötülüğün anlaşılmazlığı

In this thesis, I examine a classical objection to Kant's moral philosophy. Kant argues that the law of free will is the moral law. Carl Leonard Reinhold responded with the criticism that free and immoral action is impossible according to Kant's view. In the first chapter of the thesis, I examine Reinhold's criticism and Kant's reply to Reinhold. In the second and third chapters, I present Kantian responses to Reinhold in contemporary philosophy. In the last chapter, I offer a reading of Kant's posthumously published notes in the context of his debate with Reinhold. I argue that Kant's view suggest that evil cannot be explained in terms of freedom, but as a fact about the phenomenal world.
