Abstract (EN)

Rapidly growing world population and rapid development which is experienced in endustry; the necessity of converting household and industrial waste, while bringing problems such as more efficient use of available resources, making interdisciplinary studies have been required to solve these multidimensional problems. Flotation process which is including the common working principles of different sciences such as mining, materials, environment and civil engineering has been used generally in recent years for the solution ofthe mentioned problems. Flotation is an effective way of separating particles and oils from waste water and processing of metallic and non-metallic ores. Flotation is carried out more efficiently through air bubbles introduced into the flotation cells by various methods. This process which can be described as a kind of aeration take place among the flotation technologies. Aeration can be done in various forms. Especially high pressure conduits used for the aeration of water are an example of this. The air which is led to flow like numerous bubble increase air efficiency whereat increase flotation performance. In this study, it is aimed to supply the system with air bubbles by integrating conduit with high pressure into flotation cell. In improved pilot scale new system, the aeration performance and efficient on flotation efficiency of the parameters such as water flow that is given to the system, cell diameter, cell column length, plunge angel of air-water jet entering into cell, has been studied experimentally. As a result; it is provided a large amount of air bubble entry to flotation cell by the agency of this system. It has been seen that the flotation cell supported by conduit which is new generation flotation and aeration system can be used very effectively in the flotation process.
