The relation between social structure and economic structure in pre capitalist and post capitalist era

From past to present, institutions like economics, politic, law and religion create very important influences on the life of communities. While some thinkers, like Marx prefer reductionist approach to analyze the structure of societal change, some thinkers, like Weber, think that not one factor but many factors are effective in social change. In this study we will handle the relations between socio-cultural, politic and economic structures as a sub-systems in the process of pre-capitalism, capitalism and post-capitalism based on Jürgen Habermasian classification. Furthermore we will try to analyze the relevant relationships by means of İbn Haldun', Karl Marx's, Emile Durkheim's, Max Weber's, Jürgen Habermas' and Anthony Giddens' theories.
