Abstract (EN)
Turkish-Azerbaijani relations regarding the Karabakh war have been developing gradually since Azerbaijan gained its independence, and over the years this rapprochement has reached a level that attracts the attention of the world international system. During and after the last Karabakh war, the political values of these relations became known to all the peoples of the world, and some states tended to learn from such a rapprochement. Currently, the full support of the Republic of Turkey in the victories of the Azerbaijani army in the Second Karabakh War is discussed in political circles. In this respect, there is a need for scientific research on Turkey-Azerbaijan relations. Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu's visits to Baku as a real example of Turkey's support to Azerbaijan throughout the war, and during these visits, the Turkish Minister reiterated that Azerbaijan can always count on a friendly country. Azerbaijan's close cooperation with Turkey continued to prevail at the end of the war and during the deployment of peacekeeping forces in the region. This continued both politically and diplomatically. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey M. Çavuşoğlu, Minister of National Defense H. Akari and Head of National Intelligence Department H. Fidan in Baku on November 10. It is not a coincidence that Ilham Aliyev said "This is our joint victory, confirmation of Turkey-Azerbaijan unity" at these receptions. During and after the Second Karabakh War, Azerbaijan-Turkey relations were one of the most discussed topics in the international arena, socio-political circles and foreign media. While interpreting the results of the war for Azerbaijan and Armenia, political and international commentators pay great attention to the change in the balance of power in the region, especially to the strengthening of Turkey.
