Abstract (EN)

In this study, the austrian pine (Pinus nigra Arnold) wood that grows in the Simav district of Kütahya; the Dursunbey district of Balıkesir and in the Mustafakemalpaşa district of Bursa is laminated with Polivinilasetat (PVAc), PVAc-D2 and PVAc-D3 glues.Bending, adhesion and compression experiments are applied to these laminated samples to explore their mechanical effects. These experiments explore how place of growth and the glue that is used influence the lamination properties of austrian pine wood.As a result, it has been seen that the bending and compressive strengths of the austrian pine wood taken from Dursunbey and Mustafakemalpaşa and laminated with PVAc-D2 glue are slightly higher. In addition, considering the results of the adhesive strength, it has been seen that the austrian pine wood taken from Mustafakemalpaşa and Simav and laminated with PVAc-D3 glue gave better results. Keywords: Compressive Strength, Bending Resistance, Austrian Pine, Lamination, Adhesive Strength
