Özet (EN)

In this study, we aimed to investigate the effect of magnesium sulphate on liver ischemia reperfusion injury. Our work was carried out with the approval of Abant İzzet Baysal University Animal Studies Ethics Committee. In our study, 32 female Wistar Albino rats weighing 250-350 grams were used for 2-4 months. The rats were randomly divided into four groups. In the control group (K), only the rats' abdomen were opened and no ischaemia was formed and waited until the other groups. Magnesium (M) group was administered 200 mg / kg magnesium sulphate only 20 minutes before laparotomy and was not as ischemic. In the group of ischemia reperfusion (IR), ischemia was performed in the liver for about 60 minutes after laparatomy. Then reperfusion was allowed for 60 minutes. Ischemia reperfusion and magnesium (IR + M) group received 200 mg / kg magnesium sulphate 20 minutes before the abdomen was opened. After laparotomy, ischemia was induced in the liver for about 60 minutes and then reperfusion was allowed for 60 minutes. Blood samples were taken intracardiac in all groups. TAS, TOS, ALT, AST, TROPONIN I and INR were studied in the biochemistry laboratory. Tissue samples were then taken from the liver. Liver sections were stained with hemotoxyline eosin. The specimens were examined by a histologist unaware of the experimental groups in the histology laboratory and evaluated by liver ischemia reperfusion injury scoring.
